Powerful Promises From God’s Word

Powerful Promises From God’s Word

I cannot tell you the number of times that I have found comfort from reading God’s word.  As Christians we are so blessed that God has given us so many powerful and wonderful promises, to encourage us on this journey called life.
Today I would like to share just a few of His promises.   My prayer is that you will bask in the joy that spending time with Him brings and that you will draw even closer to Him as you meditate on these verses.  I am thoroughly convinced that no matter what we face in life God has a scripture in His Word that will strengthen and encourage us as we face our fiery trials. His provision to comfort us, even though His word is simply Amazing!

God Is Faithful

Psalm 100: 5
For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

1st Chronicles 16:34
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!  His faithful love endures forever.
James1:17
17 Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens.[a] He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.[b]

Hebrews ….13:5
………For God has said, “I will never fail you.   I will never abandon you.”[a]

Romans 8:35-39
35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”[a]) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1st Corinthians  10:13
13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
