Psalms 139:14-18
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
    When I was made in the secret place,
    When I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    All the days ordained for me were written in your book
    Before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
    How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
    They would outnumber the grains of sand—
    When I awake, I am still with you.

In the passage of scripture above we are reminded that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. God has created and formed us just as he desired for us to be . So with that being true why are so many women these days trying to be, or look like someone they aren’t. The great God of this universe has given us His stamp of approval.
Genesis 1:27- So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good….
Take a moment and consider this; this is the same God who makes no mistakes or errors. He is perfect. Who are we to question the value or the validity of what He has created. Why do we need validation from another human being that we are ok. When God has already validated us.
We will never fully know our purpose for existing if we cant first accept and trust the hand of the one that created us and believe that He is a Master at His craft. Then and only then are we ready to receive the most precious of His treasures, the key that holds the answers to the question we all have pondered from time to time. Why specifically was I created?
This is the year to embrace the you that God has created you to be. This is also the year to love yourself and to be thankful for the many gifts and talents that were uniquely placed inside of you by God himself. When you can fully trust that God knew exactly what He was doing when He created you, you can move through life with an unparalleled confidence and grace. Not only will you know whose you are but why you are. You will began to love, and appreciate yourself worts and all, just as God does.  So the next time you take a look in your mirror embrace the authentic beautiful you!
Remember to stay in your own lane. Don’t compare your life, your looks, your success etc. to anyone else. Run your own race with the gifts, talents and the set of circumstances God has blessed you with. When we start comparing ourselves with others it’s easy to get caught up in the trap of envy and jealousy. Stay in your own lane. Be grateful for what you have and who you are.
Have a wonderful year exploring and reacquainting yourself with the authentic you.
2015 wont be a New Year a New You but a New Year an Authentic You!
Be blessed and Be real, Be YOU!
